We currently have no plans for an Android app. This is partly because the majority of BMW drivers own/use an iPhone or iPad, but also because iOS is a much more secure platform than Android.
We are currently not planning to support E models. The reason for this is simply the age of the vehicles and the market situation. Our applications for engines and transmissions require a lot of time and are therefore financially expensive. The E model licenses would not be significantly cheaper than for an F model, which is why we believe that many customers do not want to or cannot pay for this.
Due to our work with German automobile manufacturers in the application, we are the market leader for diesel applications. Our research and development includes complex processes in order to ensure the highest level of safety for every vehicle. For example, we implement additional control mechanisms that regulate the performance during operation based on exhaust gas, engine and oil temperatures so that no damage occurs. We can therefore recommend our performance enhancements for almost every vehicle that has been serviced regularly and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. A high mileage is therefore not necessarily a problem.
For each stage, we specify a performance that is achieved under optimal conditions. This performance is to be seen as the difference to the original performance. If your vehicle has less power than stated in the standard condition, there will still be a deviation after tuning.
The DITUPA app is designed to use iOS18 (latest version required). Please make sure that your device is up to date and that you have downloaded the latest version of the app from the App Store.

In order for the app to work as expected, some settings must be observed.
When you start the app for the first time, it asks for permission to access the local network and push notifications. Both, but especially the local network, are essential.
- If possible, connect the charger to the vehicle! (If the voltage from the vehicle is too low, the app will prohibit a flash and indicate that a charger must be connected.)
- Fasten the seat belt on the driver's seat
- Close the door and keep it closed
- Turn on the ignition
- Plug in the OBD adapter and connect it to the iPhone / iPad
- Connect and flash vehicle in the app
When you open the app for the first time, it asks for permissions for push notifications and the local network. These must be confirmed/allowed.
You then log in using the TAN that was sent to you via email after ordering. The vehicle can now be connected to the app using a supported adapter.
The app searches for all installed control units and displays them in the overview. Now you only need to select one of the control units to choose a stage for flashing.
No need to panic! Follow the instructions in the app. There can be various reasons why programming fails.
- ignition has gone out
- Voltage from the battery has dropped rapidly
- iPhone / iPad has moved away from the car
- Adapter not properly inserted into OBD port
- Data display / Android radio is installed
If the flashing process is aborted, you can try again immediately. Before doing so, make sure that none of the above points apply.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
- Make sure that the device has an Internet connection via cellular (at least 3G, but preferably LTE or 5G). In the case of an Ethernet adapter with ENET cable, WiFi can and should be used for the Internet connection.
- Check that the ignition is switched on and the seat belt is fastened on the driver's side
For some vehicles, Stage 2 is not technically possible.
This is displayed when selecting the corresponding vehicle-engine combination in the configurator.
If a Stage 2 is listed there but not in the app, this stage is currently in development. You will receive a push notification as soon as it becomes available.
After purchasing the license, you will receive your login TAN by email. This is a replacement for the user name/password to simplify the login process. Your licenses are stored in your user account.
So if you buy multiple licenses with the same email address, you can use them all with your app.
